Through Bridges, you can volunteer in the community, making a direct impact on the greatest needs of your neighbors, friends, family and co-workers. From Days of Caring to Stuff the Bus, United Way’s young leaders have the opportunity to make change with their own two hands.
SOCIAL:
Quarterly events provide members of Bridges an opportunity to bring their families together for fellowship, fun and quite often food! While events for 2012 are being planned, opportunities to mingle with the Carlisle Young Professionals are being offered in the interim.
BE RECOGNIZED:
The Bridges Society involves young people in United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County by providing opportunities to learn what it means to give, advocate and volunteer. If you are 40 or younger and give at least $250 to United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County, stand up and be recognized as a member of our Bridges Society. Check the appropriate box on you pledge form or contact us at 717-243-4805 or megan@carlisleunitedway.org.
GET INVOLVED:
The Bridges committee meets bi-monthly for one hour on the third Wednesday of every other month at 4pm. Committee members plan and coordinate activities such as social gatherings and programming. Attend a committee meeting and help develop the future of Bridges. Contact us to learn more at megan@carlisleunitedway.org or call 717-243-4805.
